PLAYING THIS WEEK
Two-piece Kelly and Kelvin, 'The Peas', are masters at taking your guilty pop pleasures from the 80s and 90s and giving them a classy reworking.
From Rick Astley to Duran Duran to The Spice Girls; well-loved secret pleasures are shaken up with a change of chords and a blue-grassy, rock n roll acoustic disco beat that feels just like new.
Acoustic guitar, double bass, foot drums, Kazoos, beatboxing, mouth trumpets, super sweet harmonies and only two people.
In their own words "You will come away not too sure what you have witnessed but feeling all the better for it."
Doors open at 4PM
Live music from 8.30PM
ARE YOU A MUSICIAN?
If you are a musician and you would like to play at the brewery there are a few things you should know before getting in touch...
Fridays are our main music night and it works best for us to have lively bands that know how to please a crowd, have a following and make some effort helping publicise the gig.
If this sounds like you then you should also know we believe in paying musicians but we don't charge entry and we are a small venue - so we pay £200, free drinks and we have our own PA - no negotiation, everyone gets the same.
If that doesnt work for you, we completely understand - no hard feelings.
Introspective singer/songwriters doing original material are great but we are looking at other nights to feature your work - Friday at The SBC is party night - good beer and great music.
